need help with curtain colors?

My style is contemporary. I have all expresso colored furniture. My sofa is slate colored (dark grey). My carpet is biege. My walls are light beige. My living room opens to the breakfast nook and kitchen. Dining table and kitchen cabinets are also expresso with white countertop. The kitchen and breakfast nook have white/beige colored ceramic tiles. What color curtains would best complement my space?

Wow, this sounds beautiful. I love your color choices. Great neutrals with contrast of dark and light and texture. It must be very elegant. So I think a slate grey or warm grey silk curtain color would look striking and elegant. Don’t make it too “matchy matchy” with the sofa, but go a little lighter or darker. You could get some small samples from the fabric store to see what goes best.
If however, you want the walls and window treatment to blend together, then go for a beige fabric color in silk with a little shimmer. If you are having them made or making them yourself, you could customize further with a horizontal band of slate grey or chocolate/ espresso.
It all depend on what sort of look you are going for.
