I flat iron my hair everyother day meaning I don’t wash my hair everyday OF COURSE PEOPLE WHO STRAIGHTEN THEIR TAKE A SHOWER EVERYDAY EVER HEARD OF A SHOWER CAP I have a pure ceramic straightener but no matter what kind you have straightening everyday will cause damage more than doing it less often. I use Paul Mitchell super skinny serum to protect my hair. And when I don’t wash my hair I use a shower cap to keep my hair dry and if a little bit got wet I just blowdry it. I don’t know what you mean by long term damage hair grows out and you can trim it.
What are the best curling irons/straightners?
I need a new curling iron. I want it to be hot and curl my hair easily but also not damage it. I know ceramic curling irons are the best for this, but idk what brands are the best. Could anyone give me any tips? Any good straightners that curl hair well also? Thanks!
My straightener is aweeessooommeee and can also curl really great! I use it for both. It’s a “Hai Stik”
It also comes in a 2″ iron size for thicker hair but I don’t think that would be a good size for curls. Maybe, depending on the size of them that you want…
I’ve had mine for 6 years and it still works 100%.
I know a lot of people who use Chi as a straightener and have heard (and seen!) good things. I used one once and it did a good job. Dunno if it’s a good curling iron but it’s practically the exact same as the one I own and it does a good job so I can only assume a Chi would too. Also they are cheaper (and come in pink!!! Wish I’d waited and got a Chi just for that!)
Anyway I love mine and my sis bought it for me and didn’t get the best deal but I bought a 2″ iron size for my other sister and it was only $69 new on ebay, thought that was ok.
Also I know that any conair product I’ve ever owned/used has SUCKED! Don’t buy conair.
