art dolls house project?

I have a 3D art project to do with the place and identity and I can use what you want. I was thinking 3 boxes of wood, one with a sunroof, one with an open side and a window cut into it. I was go to 3 sets of furniture in my room, ceramic clay and fire that is difficult. My father will make three small lights of different colors red, blue and green to put in each box. Leave a comment? Has anyone done a similar project? people think it will be successful with these materials? How can I improve my idea? Thank you for your time and any response received.
