Where can I find the "Paint it yourself" ceramic Christmas houses?

I used to get at Wal-Mart but they bring more ….

Depending on where you are (do not ask to post your information), there are usually classes or types of hut pottery places that allow you to enter and do a project with their molds, and you can have "Fired" and then return back and paint. Try the phone book under the craft, or online in search of a directory site. Other Classes can be offered by universities that LCAL, vocational schools, or adult / schools who continue in education. is it too much?

ok i looooooooooove christmas and i always go overboard with everything christmassy!! i am babysitting tomorrow for about three hours for family friends. and of course being so close to christmas i planned heaps of christmas activities to do! and it all seemed like a great idea at the time, but now i am thinking i may have done too much. the thing is i refuse to charge these people for looking after their kids too. i have bought a ginger bread house and lollies for the kids to decorate. then i also bought two white ceramic plates for the kids to draw a christmas picture on with ceramic paints so they can give them to their mum and dad for christmas. do you think this is too much? i mean they will love it and everyting, but money wise do you think it will look a little insane if they come to pick their kids up and they have a gingerbread house and two plates? am i being paranoid or have i once again gone over the top at christmas?

I think it’s a great idea. It is christamas – a time for giving. If you did something like that every time you babysat then it maybe considered “over the top” but at Christmas it would be just fine. You sound like a wonderful babysitter. They are lucky to have you.
