Can you help me with this problem please Geometry (search box)? ? ? ? ?
Do you plan to use a design ceramic tiles in your new bathroom. The tiles are blue and white triangle. You decide to hold the tiles in blue a hexagon as shown. If the side of each tile is 5 inches, which is the exact area of each hexagon? * I do not know how I could find the area true of each hexagon, any help would be great.
A hexagon has six equilateral triangles such. The area of any triangle is: a ² * √ 3 / 4. Area = 6 * a ² * √ 3 quarters ² = a * 3 √ 3 / 2 = 5 * ² 3 √ 3 / 2 = 75 √ 3 / 2 cm ²
What is the best cleaning product for ceramic/porcelain tile and grout…?
I have an extreamely easy to take care of porcelain tile floor throughout the entire 1st floor of my home. It could be absolutely filthy and you’d never know it,(due to it’s color & swirly marble look design).
The problem is that in the high traffic areas and cooking areas the grout has become much darker.
Most people don’t notice it, but I can see the differance between the grout color in areas like the dining room or foyer(rarely used areas).
Any suggestions short of getting on my hands and knees and scrubbing with clorox to make a differance in it’s color? It’s not that I’m lazy, but there is such a large area that has become darker that it’s not something you start when you have limited time,otherwise you’ll notice the differance even more.
I’m having some people over tomorrow and would like to make the grout a bit lighter in those areas so I don’t notice that much of a differance.
Any suggestions?
White vinegar and use a WHITE nylon scrub pad and sorry , you ll have to get on your hands and knees to scrub good…Use of a colored pad may stain your grout since some times the coloring will come off these pads.
The Clorox may take the color out of grout also..
The use of Lime Away and those type cleaners may etch tile and eat the grout away..
This type of project isn t a last minute thing, since vinegar will smell for awhile..
You may have to go to an OTC grout cleaner sold at any flooring place. These also shouldn t be used in the last minute.. I use them on occasion straight ,, rinsing well after… GL
