I have a very difficult to generate an idea for a figurative ceramic sculpture.?
for my art classes that we making a figurative sculpture of ourselves and the moment I'm more difficult to generate an idea of my sculpture. I thought about making a sculpture of myself as a child of three years. but my teacher told me I was basically a hard time, basically, showing sentiment behind my work. I need help on how the deeper thought of myself or something, I just need help to come with an idea that is really original and reflects me. help!

What is the difference between sculptures and ceramics?
If you are talking about a class -
* A lot of ceramic classes start using a potters wheel Some will start with a pinch pot then the Wheel or a slab built box
* Sculpture classes vary a lot so you would need to ask the place that is offering the class
Sculpture is considered decorative
Ceramics is a broad material term that functional pieces and decorative pieces can be made
Sculpture can be made in ceramics , bronze, glass,or a lot of other materials
