When a garden, a garden …? if all we had was concrete, can still attract butterflies bees?
hoverflies, etc., with nectar pots? I'll explain ..! I have often taken a drone cold and numb give a few drops of sugar mixed with water. As well known that bees and butterflies are attracted to certain colors and shapes of flowers. on the same principle, I have heard that some people have done research metallic flower alikes that have been painted or glazed in bright colors and with a small central hole, put a sugar solution. I like the idea this to use for bumblebees, as they appear hungry hungry in the spring, perhaps in late spring cold inhospitable [this year was]. Perhaps artists garden / flower magnet and sculptors could have a field day on this. What I mean is that even if you do the exposed concrete in front of their door or out, adding a tree in a pot, a bowl of water and a source of nectar sugar [even a flower ceramic or metal], the moor may attract wildlife.
Well from what I wrote that you are in harmony with nature, to understand the time and can recognize a cold spring and bumblebee and Nature seems to recognize – very laudable -. I think we all need a bit of nature around us to our right thing to do to help get in touch with nature can help improve your quality of life and, in fact – that the lives of others. Thus, the concrete jungle or not, artificial or real, if it makes you sing birds sing and bees around – go ahead … I tend to grow and maintain bonsai – which allows me to make the order of the world around me – do not use the space well and looks inside so good, in this concrete jungle of a world outside in the concrete jungle .. My Top Five list ?
Yesterday My husband took me on a day long truck run for the very first time. When we got home He presented me with this list.
The Top Five reasons my husband will never take me on another truck run:
5. I sprayed his cab down with a rose scented deorderizer.
4. In his log book I wrote things down like….turned left at the pretty pink house with ceramic frogs in the flower beds.
3.I told all of his fellow drivers at the truckstop all about his hemroidectomy last winter..
2. I gave the nice single good looking D.O.T. officer my husband’s single sister’s name and phone number.
and the number one reason is…
I drew little bras with a marker on the pictures in his tittie girls calendar while he was fueling up at a station.
My impression of this is simple: My husband likes the great out doors and all it encompasses: hunting and fishing to stock up the freezer. I am a city person who misses concerts and cultural exhibitions and having access to different stores (books, music, libraries, etc.) We moved from Vancovouver to a very small ranching village in the Thompson-Okanagan region of British Columbia. From a population of one million people to approximately 9,000 in total.
He loves it and I have been trying to get over my cultural shock.
Only one of us is really loving it….
