When you decorate your home for Christmas and get all your Christmas items …? ?
What is your favorite Christmas theme and why? Do you have sentimental value? Have you passed from generation to generation and remains a special memory for you? Tell me about it. Personally, I have ceramic hand-painted Santa Claus to pray the baby Jesus in a manger. I love it. It has been done hand and hand painted by one of my friends as a wedding gift 10 years ago. I also like the symbolism of the prayer to Santa Baby Jesus (the real reason for the season). Anyway, I feel ready for Christmas every time I see it. His article is??
I have two elements. One is the crib that my father gave my mother her first Christmas as a married couple (1963) and display it with pride every year. The second is a pot that Christmas used to be one of four that my mother, father, brother and I drank every Christmas. The first Christmas I in 1979 and remember to drink every Christmas morning.
interesting facts about Pablo Picasso’s ceramic artwork?
I have to do a powerpoint presentation on Pabo Picasso’s ceramic artwork and i can’t find much to write about. Can you think of any bullet points to take up space? such as if all of his pieces are handmade, what temperature they are fired at, what type of paint he uses on the ceramic etc etc. thank you!

The sculptural and textural qualities:achieved by interplay of light and shadow
Painterly like quality – plate as canvas (see horse and ball)
Characteristic themes- men,women,dancers,mythological images – centaurs, fauns, animals, subjects relating to Spanish heritage – bulls/bullfighting
Style – basically figurative
Different effects achieved:- thro original forms and colorfuldecoration;used slip (liquid potter’s clay with added oxides;) and paraffin with metallic oxides added to achieve a matt, unglazed effect.In some of his works, he alternated glazing with areas protected by plain paraffin, to retain the natural colors of the clay. In this way,he played with contrast between shiny, glazed surfaces and matt, opaque areas.
