ceramic painting? Has anyone here used personally?
We are preparing to paint our kitchen, our real estate agent recommended. The floor is cream with accents of blue, which is good, but the council is purple / pink tiles. This is an area of small and very 80 ugly, I was intending to use the paint for painting tile I found at the hardware store. Has anyone tried this before? Will look good when you're done? It is a foot and a thumb section 10 feet, not too big. Epoxy is one the second part that I found. I thought for a bit, most likely would be at least better the pink tiles. Any opinions?
You do not have to use a particular product if you do not want. We have 4×4 tile in our entry into an area of ancient source of about three meters the ground about a foot on the roof. Just a good start and has prepared everything. Then use a good latex paint. As long as the primes, Zinsser is good brand, you can paint over. Our floral tiles were different colors in a lighter background. We can not see something like that After the foregoing. The epoxy resin work, and some say that the latex will peel off if you use it, but the primer / sealer is what creates the link and we no peeling or had a bubble at all. While less expensive, and probably less smelly.
Can I paint ceramic tile?
I don’t have the time or money to redo the bathroom. But the pink tiles are an eyesore to me. I would like like a dark blue (perhaps).
Can this be done? Is there a special paint for this?
Yes, it can be done.
If it is the shiny type tile, you will have to roughen it up so that the paint ahere’s to it.
After painting make sure you seal it with a clear coat.
Honestly, doing it this way, is very time consuming, and may not be as cost efficient.
Check your local home improvement store for the materials and ask for further help.
