Ive installed in my bathroom ceramic about 18 months. the tables have begun to crack. Why?
I baskup used the card, the tape, then put the glue on each tile. yes they are on the ground. How do I know if the floor or frame is different?
I assume you mean the tiled floor .. which may be a number of things .. # 1, the floor is moving … must have 2 or more layers of plywood construction or a similar product with lap joints … and 1.25 "thick or more … 2 # If you use glue (Cola), is covered with tiles and good Size … links need a type of adhesive mortar … # 3 .. tiles tiles are used … Wall tiles should not be used on the floor … # 4 .. If the glue is not fully compatible with the tile gaps could create a weak point, and direct pressure to break the tile .. # 5 .. Support actual ground may not be strong enough or cover all the time too that the deviation (movement) if the floor moves or flexes his tiles are loose or broken.
what is better for bathroom tile ceramic or porcelian?
We are in the middle of a bathroom renovation & have found that there are a whole lot of new colors & design of porcelain tiles. They can mimic more pricier tiles like slate or limestone that is hot now in bathroom design. The good news is that you get the look without the expensive price tag. You should check out a tile store in your area. I was impressed with the diversity in porcelain. It has definitely changed since the old porcelain bathrooms of the 50′s & 60′s. Depending on your bathroom size, you can vary the size of tiles making different patterns for design interest too.
